I'm a bit rusty with filling the gaps, but I figured I would throw this up here to show that I also do conversions and combinations as well as paint jobs. I really love painting those lenses.

Now this is the one I mean! :D I love what you did here with the visor. Do you have any idea which masks would also fit?

As long as the mask is fairly flat, it should fit.

Nicely done, dude! You did an excellent job on the lenses, and the wires are a great touch.

The glue line kinda looks like a welding seam. Replacing the lenses with translucent pieces is also a cool effect but in this case I like your paint job more. Very steampunk.

The lenses are also hand painted, no gloss or glass. The "glue" is actually a sculpting material I used to fill the gaps but botched a bit. That shouldn't happen anymore since I got a fine sanding bit for my dremel.

That's an awesome idea. I agree with the gap-filling needing a bit more polish, but other than that it's a great execution of an amazing concept. If you do more in the future, please upload them for the viewing pleasure of, well, this guy. (Had to work some ego in somewhere.)

I had always wondered why the guy in the dark didn't get advanced optics as well.
